The Opportunity
The Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy is a newly created, pivotal role. Developed in line with our strategic plan, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Leadership Team during a period of significant transformation. Reporting directly to a visionary and fast-paced CEO, you'll be instrumental in shaping a high-performing and engaging workplace culture.
We are seeking an energetic and purpose-driven strategic leader who is ready to make a significant impact with a proven track record of driving sustainable revenue growth through compelling campaigns and strong engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to exceed ambitious targets and ensure long-term revenue growth.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, manage, and mentor a passionate fundraising team. You'll foster a high-performance, positive, and collaborative culture that reflects our vision and values.
- Donor & Stakeholder Management: Oversee the acquisition and management of strategic partnerships and build strong, long-term relationships with donors and supporters. You'll develop and maintain a disciplined pipeline for all new and existing opportunities.
- Campaigns: Drive compelling fundraising campaigns, delivering innovative initiatives to grow our portfolio and drive performance.
- Grants: Manage and oversee grant applications and proposals.
- Philanthropy: Research, profile, and cultivate relationships with high-value prospective donors and funding opportunities.
- Reporting & Operations: Implement a concise reporting suite to track results, monitor performance against KPIs, and ensure data integrity.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of proven success in leading fundraising and philanthropy within the not-for-profit sector, with a track record of delivering creative and effective initiatives that meet or exceed KPIs.
- A tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM software.
- A valid driver's licence and the commitment to attend all sites regularly.
