About the role

We are undergoing a period of significant growth and are now looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team. No two days may look the same as you will be involved with all accounts functions. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial entries and collaborate with the other finance team members on ad hoc projects and tasks. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, and we value work life balance so there is flexibility around start and finish times to suit. 

Key Responsibilities            

  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable (leave coverage only)
  • Revenue journals and reconciliations
  • Cash banking including petty cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month end reconciliations & processes
  • Year end reconciliations & processes
  • Problem solving any issues or discrepancies that may arise

What are the minimum requirements for this position?

  • 3+ years of hands-on accounts experience
  • Diploma or Tertiary accounting qualification highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with MYOB, or NetSuite highly regarded
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles
  • A proactive, dependable approach with a positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
